“Life is a gift, enjoying it is an art”

Lets go to Cabo!

Lets go to Cabo!

Cabo, a perfect destination for luxury travel, Nestled along the stunning coastline of Baja California Sur, this place boasts a vibrant and diverse culinary scene that will captivate any foodie. Immerse yourself in the lap of luxury, surrounded by exquisite amenities, breathtaking ocean views, and impeccable service. Cabo promises an unforgettable experience where the art of eating well and savoring every moment intertwine seamlessly!

During the initial planning phase I came across the Viceroy Hotel; Imagine waking up to panoramic ocean views, surrounded by the pristine white sand beaches and vibrant turquoise waters. The Viceroy Hotel has a modern, futuristic vibe and is such an aestheticly pleasing property. The spacious balconies at this property offer a large day bed where we watched the sun rise every morning, glorious. Starting the day with an incredible breakfast spread from the comfort of our own room is one of our favorite vacation pleasures.

A few things that really stand out about this dreamy place are the pools. There are two on the property and we found ourselves sipping craft cocktails at the unique and beautiful oceanside pool every afternoon. The poolside eats from Nidito were a real treat from the fresh Poke bowls to the selection of authentic Mexican tacos (Baja fish were our favorite). Absolute perfection here for all of the tranquil vibes.

The food at The Viceroy is fantastic. During our stay we ate at Nido which is an eclectic nest restaurant offering an asian fusion menu; the sashimi and sushi were absolute perfection along with fresh sake selection. Nido has such a cool vibe and we loved that it was only steps from our suite. The rooftop bar at The Viceroy, Cielomar, is stunning and another impressive experience. The drinks were unlike any we have tried before, using local Mexican ingredients and herbal liquors for a burst of unfamiliar flavors that create magic. We watched the fiery sunset over the expansive ocean views, ate the most delicious oysters and octopus. Chefs kiss!

There is nothing like staying at an incredible resort like The Viceroy but we love to venture and check out other amazing properties and restaurants. The Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos is a gorgeous resort sitting just outside of the town. We made a sunset reservation for El Farallon, a gorgeous seaside restaurant with direct sunset views and a delectable champagne bar; A chalkboard menu with the fresh catch of the day never disappoints and we enjoyed a great meal. Pre dinner we had mezcal cocktails at the exquisite Don Manuel’s bar. The bartenders here are true masters of their craft and it was really amazing to watch them create. If you have the chance to check out this stunning, old world property don’t miss it!

Memorable meals included La Lupita Taco & Mezcal which is a hidden gem nestled in Los Cabos town. The menu is expansive and uses only the freshest of local ingredients. There are over twenty different types of unique tacos; we ordered a bunch to create a taco tasting menu. The La Lupita Ceviche is top notch and the sides were a treat along with different flavors and sauces. Definitely check this place out for an authentic, low key meal in Cabo.

Flora Farms was a special experience in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains. Flora is a colorful, 25 acre organic working farm. This is a place for culinary enthusiasts and oasis seekers. We enjoyed a delicious brunch spread followed by a mezcal tasting which included orange slices and a local delicacy, crickets. Overall, This place is a must see while visiting Cabo, it is not just a meal but a whole experience. Flora offers cooking classes, a full spa, shops, and event spaces. Incredible!

ACRE is one of those places that transports you into a different world, hidden inside a lush jungle, these aesthetics are on another level. When we arrived for our dinner reservation we were immediately offered a complementary Mezcal tasting beneath the palms; we learned a lot of really interesting facts about mezcal and how to properly taste this smokey liquor. There is a boutique hotel on the property as well as an event space and a delicious restaurant; a Cabo must!

Besides eating our way around Cabo we also chartered a catamaran for the afternoon; We enjoyed swimming and soaking up the sun, watching the sunset and getting to see whales! I would highly recommend getting out on the water for at least a few hours and don’t forget the Rose!
